Originally from Houston, she started in the insurance industry seven years prior, performing administrative and accounting duties. There she also ran an organization called VirtueStands, that helped create community wide events for churches.In 2005 she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where she again worked for an insurance company and was involved in ministries to the homeless. She had moved to Austin just two weeks before she landed at HPCC. She now enjoys playing in a kickball league and serving as a volunteer for the Single Volunteers of Austin.
