OUR DENOMINATION
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), was founded on American soil in the early 1800s, not because founders felt they had a monopoly on the truth or a better creed than the folks down the street, but because we hold as primary our unity in Christ with openness and diversity in practice and belief. In a time of extreme divisions in society and in our churches, Disciples emphasize that we are “a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.”
